Residence Life

Monthly Communications

Housing & Residence Life is working hard to communicate consistently with our residents. We hope our community will take advantage of our monthly newsletter and town hall to get the most out of their residence life experience.

Waste & Recycling in Our Halls

As a resident at the Georgia Institute of Technology, you play a critical role in helping reduce the negative environmental impact of our halls in key areas such as waste, energy, and water. Click below to familiarize yourself with the resources your Residence Hall can provide you regarding proper recycling and compost, saving water and energy, and otherwise being a good steward of our shared environment!

Maintenance Request

The facilities and maintenance services of Georgia Tech Housing provide routine and emergency maintenance and housekeeping services to GT residence halls.

Free Laundry

All laundry machines in the residence halls are free, residents only need to turn them on by pushing the start button without making any type of payment. IF YOUR MACHINE HAS A CARD SLOT, YOU SHOULD NOT INSERT YOUR BUZZCARD OR ANY PAYMENT INTO IT

Residence Hall Association

Residence Hall Association (RHA) offers the chance to make a difference on-campus. As an officer you will have the authority to allocate money, join committees, advocate on important issues, and grow as an individual.

First Year Leadership Association

A FLO (First-Year Leadership Organization) is an organization with strong GT departmental connections that seeks to better the Georgia Tech community through a unique program that enriches the first year experience for its members and the entire freshman class. Housing & Residence Life is proud to support Emerging Leaders (EL), Suite Up (SUPP), and and First-Year Activities Board (FAB).

Bicycles

Georgia Tech encourages bicycling as an easy option for transportation. Housing and Residence Life has provided guidelines for safe storage and retrieval.

Emergency Evacuation Plans

Residents in Georgia Tech housing can be assured that the members of the Residence Life and Housing staff, as well as other campus agencies, are working together for emergency preparedness and response.

Guide to Community Living

Where can I get help? How can I ensure a great living experience? Those questions and more can be found in the Guide to Community Living.

Staff

The Professional and Student Staff Members who make Residence Life run are here to help you make Georgia Tech your home. As a large organization, it can be hard to know who to go to for what.
