Visiting Exchange Students

Due to high demand for on-campus housing in the Fall, all exchange students who plan to live on campus must apply for either I-House or I-Lead. Exchange students interested in on-campus housing for the Fall are ONLY ELIGIBLE for I-House and I-Lead.

I-House and I-Lead

Step 1: Apply for I-House and I-Lead before the application closes. You may apply for I-House and I-Lead before you are admitted to Georgia Tech.

Step 2: Apply for housing via My Housing. Please note that you cannot apply for GT Housing unless you have been admitted to Georgia Tech.

If you do not get a place in I-House, you will be assigned elsewhere on-campus, or you can look for off-campus options

General Housing (Spring Only)

Step 1: Students must be fully admitted to GT before access is granted to the housing application.

Step 2: Apply for housing via My Housing. Please note that you cannot apply for GT Housing unless you have been admitted to Georgia Tech. Students will be assigned a space as available.

Application Guide

Check-out the Application Guides for step-by-step instructions including screen shots of the Housing application. The housing application process and timeline for students who are new to Georgia Tech are different than they are for returning students. First-year, new transfer, and new graduate students have unique admission timelines that impact when you can apply for housing. Mostly importantly, all incoming students must be full admitted and commit to Georgia Tech by paying the Admission Deposit before access is granted to My Housing.

Please remember that housing is not required and not guaranteed for any student.
